Transdisciplinary research, health and sustainability

Evelyne de Leeuw, holder of the CERC Une Seule Urbaine, Guido Caniglia, Alfred Rütten, Oskar Marg, Lena Theiler, Richard Beecroft, Chantal Krumm, Jana Semrau, Alexandra Lux and Jinhee Kim had the opportunity to meet and work together on the future of transdisciplinary research.

The results of their research were presented for the first time at the first annual “New Horizons in Transdisciplinary Research” conference, organized by the Society for Transdisciplinary and Participatory Research (Gesellschaft für transdisziplinäre und partizipative Forschung e.V.) and the tdAcademy in Frankfurt. This conference was aimed at researchers and funding institutions working to develop excellent transdisciplinary and participatory research.

We at CERC Une Seule Santé Urbaine are convinced that to respond appropriately to the complexity and diversity of today's social challenges, it is essential to foster cooperation and mutual learning processes between scientists from a variety of disciplines and actors from different sectors of society.
